Florian Raz and Sven Schoch join Blick-Sport and complete the team of football chief Tobias Wedermann. The two new additions bring experience and expertise to Swiss football reporting. Florian Raz, 49, will join the Blick-Sport football team on December 1. He has worked in football journalism for over 20 years and writes mainly about the Swiss national football team, national football topics, and Zurich clubs. He has also made a name for himself in recent years as the driving force behind the football podcast 'Third Half'. Before moving to Zurich, Florian Raz covered FC Basel closely for the regional media titles 'Daily News', 'Basel Newspaper', and the 'Basler rod'. Sven Schoch will join Blick-Sport as a football reporter on January 1, 2025. The 50-year-old has worked for the field hockey channel MySports for the past six years, where he attracted attention with outstanding documentaries and also acted as a live commentator. He has also continued to cultivate his excellent contacts in Swiss football and accompanied top-class national players for the news agency Keystone-SDA for which he reported on Swiss football for around 20 years until 2018, from the national team - seven finals as chief reporter - to everyday league life.
