Switzerland made it two wins from two in the Nations League. A 3-0 victory away to Scotland in Glasgow on Tuesday saw Murat Yakin's side strengthen their hold on top spot in Group B1.

An early red card for Scotland's Jack Hendry in the 11th minute, after a foul on Dan Ndoye, set the tone. Ricardo Rodriguez converted the resulting free kick in the 12th minute for 1-0. It was his tenth international goal in 146 appearances for his country.

Nico Elvedi doubled the lead in the 55th minute following good work from Dan Ndoye. Substitute Zeki Amdouni added a third in the 82nd minute to complete the scoring. Ndoye was involved in the buildup to all three Swiss goals. "We played a really cool game!", Elvedi said afterwards. "Obviously the red card helped, but after that we handled it confidently."

Head coach Murat Yakin praised his team's focused display. "The team is picking up where it left off", he said. "It was a mature performance and defensively we were concentrated and didn't allow much." Despite the absence of Granit Xhaka, the midfield impressed with Ardon Jashari and Zachary Athekame.

The win was Switzerland's third in their last five matches, continuing their strong run of form. Their next challenge comes on Saturday with a home fixture against Slovenia. The current squad list shows the players available for the upcoming matches.
